I got into a discussion with a girl at work today about how "nerdy" playing video games is. The conversation started because I posted some in-game photos on Facebook. (Battlefield: Bad Company allows you to upload actual multiplayer screen shots to the EA website. I think this is awesome because it allows me to show off my killer moments in the game.) The conversation devolved into an interesting debate on the difference between what activities make you a nerd, geek, dork or spaz. I conceded defeat that gaming is nerdy. However, gaming is, and always will be, nerd cool.

Gaming is Nerd Cool
